I was in my local Super Target today (Sunday about 4:30PM), and wandered over to the gaming section as I always do.  I was surprised to find a Wii in stock.  Just sitting there...  waiting.  Nintendo must have really carpet bombed all of the distributors for this weekend as that is the first time since the Wii launched that I have seen one in stock at this Target.

360 arcades and pros were all sold out.  There was one lone elite, but the box was beat up pretty bad so I suspect it will sit there until someone gets desperate.  There were nine (9) 80 gig and 2 160 gig PS3 systems in stock.

The biggest surprise was they were down to just one blu-ray player left in stock -- the cheap philips one.  The more expensive sony ones were all gone.  The movies were picked pretty clean, too.  Perhaps the $200 blu-ray player has put a significant dent in PS3 demand.

Anyway, this is just anecdotal.  One store.  One Person.  One day.  Let me know what you saw at your giant merchandise centers over the weekend...
