What makes no sense? 2 cores at 2GHz each add up to 4GHz, substract a bit because the 2GHz is ideal and you've got your 3.89 GHz

 

A lot of people think this way but that's not how it works at all.

Your videocard (or lack thereof, as I think it's an onboard) needs to go. Get an 8800GT or something and start maxing out those games!
