I didn't want to make another L4D thread about this, but I finally finished all the campaigns last night (awesome by the way) and I thought something was odd:

No Mercy, the first campaign, seems like it's by far the hardest. Blood Harvest, the last campaign, was simple.

In No Mercy, you have long levels that really make you suffer to get to those safe houses, there are some pretty hairy spots like the lift and the sewers, and the final fight is so hard because it's just so easy to die.

In Blood Harvest, getting through the level is simple. It's memorable but there was nothing that was actually hard. I don't know if we got lucky or what but we had a pretty easy time. Actually, well I guess the corn fields are hard when a tank spawns there because he's hard to see. On the final fight, as long as you stay in the stair area on the upper floor it's hard to fail.

Anyways, not a complaint about the game, just thought it was odd the last level is the easiest and the first level was the hardest.

Also, when you arrive on the tarmac on Dead Air - awesome.

Nobody can say the Source engine is outdated after seeing that.
