Nintendo themselves weren't sure if the Wii would be a hit so they had to start developing a lot of games after the Wii was a hit. Third parties don't want to invest money into the Wii.

Sony isn't doing so well financially so they can't put so much money into many 'AAA' games. PS3 is last so third parties will shy away from them.

People don't like Microsoft because of their monopolistic methods, Xbox is copying other consoles and doing a good job of it because of their money. People see MS is just throwing their money around (buying games, companies-whether that is true or not), basically not doing anything new and copying but why not copy if you got the money to do it 'better'.
