Faxanadu on 30 November 2008
Honestly, the N64. It gave me and my friends a gaming experience totally new and never recreated.
We played Mario Kart, Golden Eye, KI and Perfect Dark literally for days in a row.
For the single player experience, I would have to say SNES.
