Whew, I was gonna feel really stupid if I was the first one to say that. Now I can feel stupid being the second one. =)
Actually, at the time, my friend was really into pokemon, and he let me use his GBC when I came over. Needless to say, I was hooked and became a huge pokemon fan for a few years.
