4 different campaigns that are about an hour each and have exactly the same types of enemies. thats like calling Halo snow level compared to swap level variety. Sure the L4D setting is in the airport, town, forest and sewers...but its short and exact same gamplay over and over. Versus mode is cute...but that won't go passed being a novelty due to horrible unbalance that humans have over zombies. Enemies spawning from different areas every time is nice but I don't think it holds the gamers interest after they get bored of blasting the tank, avoiding the witch, killing the hunter and smokin the smoker. Still an 8.5 in my books due to amazing concept and great execution...but not a gears 2 killer in any way.

I don't know if it's just the people I'm playing with are shitty, but No Mercy takes us about 2-3 hours and we still don't always beat it advanced. So there is plenty of gameplay there.
And the game makes up for a lack of variety by having it change every time. You really don't need 500 different kinds of enemies when you never know what lurks right around the corner. Besides, the game has 5 different enemies and that's more than Fable 2 and on par with many games out there.
