Wow. Nice post. I'm shocked to see the rise in sales in countries like France where it's popular to hate on MS. I had thought most of the rise was from UK, Australia with a more modest rise on the Continent but this shows otherwise.
You are right. The 360 was been culturally accepted and there's nothing Sony can do about that now. The show is over folks. There's nothing more Sony can do to 'win'. Not much point in a big price cut either. Sure it WILL sell consoles but kill profits and there's no way they are beating MS anyway. Better to make the PS3 profitable and get the PS4 out sooner rather than later.
