There are a lot of people who bought the PS2 and only used it for a few weeks or can only afford 1-2 titles...
We are seeing the same thing with Wii. They are outselling hardware wise. But, in software, 360 and PS3 are overselling proportionately to the hardware install base. This shows that there are more people that invest in new software for their PS3's and 360's in an ongoing basis then people using the Wii. With the Wii, we are seeing all the same software being sold week after week. In PS3 and 360 top software only lasts a few weeks generally and then disappears for new titles that are coming out. Unless the distributor is Nintendo, almost all the same titles consistently stay in the top sellers for the Wii.
