I just got back from Black Friday (it's a big after Thanksgiving Day sale that kick off Christmas for us in the USA).
I got Guitar Hero 3 / Aerosmith double pack for my daughter and several Blu-ray movies from Walmart. Not that many good deal at Wal-mart but they were quite busy (as expected). A lot of people were looking for tha $129 Blu-Ray player.
At Target the line was just way too long in electronic department ... Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii is going to be big this Christmas. It seems everyone was buying that Sku. Don't know how well 360 sell there because I didn't feel like wade through the crowd but Target seems to be the destination for games / electronics this year. It was more crowded at Target than Best Buy.
I got End War for 37.88 at Best Buy and some more Blu-Ray movies. Again Wii Guitar Hero World Tour is big on the Wii. 360 is selling well since Best Buy do the extra bundle games. I saw a Best Buy rep convince a guy to swith from 360 to PS3 something along the line of games are better on PS3 and better on-line service. The ratio is about 2-1 of people getting 360 vs PS3 while I was there.
Best Buy have some nice deal on PC games, BioShock, Assasin Creed for 9.99 along with C&C 3 2 pack (with Kane's Wrath) for also 9.99.
Oh I got FF Tactic for PSP for 9.99, make good stocking stuffer for my son.
