Nope, I'm referring to the actual price cut. As in what's happened in this plane of reality. The Core version you're referring to is still a rumor. As in not yet in this region of the multiverse. If happens then great. It will only encourage Microsoft to make large memory mandatory. Until Microsoft makes the announcement though, I'll hold off on declaring it a victory. Besides, this rumor applies to Europe where the Core is substantially more expensive. We better be getting something extra.
