Some of the companies experimented with the first set of games on the wii. And some of those experiments failed. I have Madden, Wii Sports, Super Monkey Ball, Excite Truck, and Zelda and I'd say they are all fun games. Could they have been better sure (more depth, better controls). But for the first round of games I'm happy with what they were able to push out. I don't know what your big gripe with the wii is. Your sig says you don't like more than 3 360 games which has been out for a year, and you only think one PS3 game and one Wii game are worth owning. So what is your love affair with the PS3? It cost $500 more than a PS2 that you could have bought or do own and you can play your PS2 games on that. Wario Ware was doomed to failure because Nintendo wanted it to be an everybody game. Since it was your first time playing one, do yourself a favor and buy one of the GBA ones. Those are a much better game experience in my opinion because the pace is frantic instead of slow. The Wii did exactly what it was supposed to do in its first three months. Gain market share and get developers on board. Judge it by its games this coming Christmas and then if it still has only one AAA game then I'd say its a waste of money. It's not like the wii forces developers to use those controls either. Via the classic controller (Mortal Kombat) or the gamecube controller (Metal Slug) you can still get back to the classic control scheme.
