I didn't mean what I said. I love the PS2. I was making an idiotic statement to counter another one. Consoles do not "deserve" to sell or not sell. They just sell or they don't. Deserving has no place in the matter of sales. I'm pretty sure you and leo-j are judging the Wii as undeserving because you don't feel their gaming library is up to par with your likes and interests. Well guess what? You are obviously not the Wii's target audience, so it's not a matter of them deserving sales or not, it's a matter of you not liking your own choice console bottom feeding while the Wii enjoys monumentous success. There is somebody else in the world with the Wii, enjoying the hell out of it, and that person matters more to Nintendo then your niche audience ever will.
If you want to lump me in as some Wii-loving freakazoid, let me make things clear. I own a Wii and I haven't played it in over 5 months. My console of choice is the 360. I can still seperate my personal opinion to look at the Wii objectively and understand why it sells, and congratulate it for doing so, even if it may not be for me at the moment.
