Yep, for the PS3 it's Resistance 2 or World at War. Personally, the single player in WaW is significantly better than R2, but R2 makes up a lot of ground with its revolutionary online modes.

Now, the best shooter overall this holiday season is easily Gears of War 2 or L4D(depending on if you are an online or offline type of guy). Neither of those games are on the PS3, but I thought I'd mention them because of the thread title.

I don't know if you are afraid of getting banned, or you just don't want to start an argument with me, but I think it's a little bit of both.

In the future, feel free to address me through a PM, instead of a passive-agressive insinuation that I am a fanboy. Even if I was being a fanboy in this instance, which I certainly was not, have the courage and conviction to say what you mean, instead of trying to troll me, and follow me around and bother me with said trolls.
