You cannot jam over Wifi, but you can make a jam and send it to a friend, allowing them to add tracks or overwrite your own tracks and send it right back at ya.
Given how hard it is to get four people co-ordinated when they're in the same room with no lag, I'm not sure that trying to jam in different rooms with network lag is a good idea at all. Rock Band and Guitar Hero don't have this problem because the songs are pre-determined, but if you were to lag in Wii Music, the song would fall apart.
