There will come a time, one day, when Nintendo looks at flagging Wii sales and says "Okay, boys, how much profit are we making per console and how much can we afford to cut back?"
When they ask that question, the Wii may have already passed the PS2, as terrifying an idea as that is. If it has not by that point, though, then that one change is what will bring the record crashing to the ground.
