i've never played coop, but it would be a nice feature.
if they implemented coop at this point - rather than really working out bugs and improving items already developed - then people would bad mouth the game saying that the mode was just tacked on.
not sure about no split screen. maybe running it at 1080i would be too much for it to handle?
