anyone who doesn't know how to do a rebate is a moron. It's a very common practice with electronics and things that require maintenance (Car work)... (paperwork and hoops?Like taking the UPC off the box as proof of purchase and filling out your addresss... ohhh so hard) |
1st you're saying Sony's going to save money that way and then you say only a moron wouldn't get the rebate. You really contradicted yourself, there. I'm saying any money saved, is saved by burning a bridge. Anyone who can't see the advantages of a store discount over a mail-in rebate is a moron. Trust me, I think you'll see the difference in the sales.
I guess you think, that no body's going to mind having to pay full price and then wait to get their money back. It's not like there might be a few ppl who don't have money to let disappear for however long. I suppose you prefer a mail-in rebate over a store price cut and don't think Sony could have done any better. Maybe if they hadn't boxed themselves into a corner, they wouldn't need a price cut, at all. But whatever... Who am I, to question Sony's flawless marketing strategy? I don't really don't care and I guess you don't care how Sony manages their business, either.
