Well it is uo to you if u prefer installation for 20 minutes and the lost of 5GB HDD-space or switching discs 3 times for 45seconds, without losing space on the HDD.

That is odd, BluRay offers so much space, but developers are just not able to use this as advantage. So the PS3 won't have an advantage due to BluRay. Like in every other multi-plat game before. Blue Dragon comes on 6discs i guess, Infinite Undiscovery on two, Lost Odyssey on four.

the greatest game ever, shenmue I/II, came on 7 discs and it did not affect gameplay in any way.

Dude, where can I buy your time machine?

Who knows if the PS3 version even requires an install besides you?

As posted earlier by leo-j many games for the PS3 don't need installs, such as those listed and my current game-of-the-day Dead Space.

Of course, these games are not in the same Genre (as said by KylieDog) as FFXIII so comparrison will be difficult if not impossible. At this stage we will only know for sure it needs an install if we can have access to your time machine. so how about it? fancy letting us take it for a spin?

anyway, back on topic I kind of like the nostalgic effect of multiple FF disks, makes me feel all warm inside.
