You don't see any problem with Kojima getting a lifetime achievement award for only a portion of his body of work? MTV says all we should remember Kojima for is Metal Gear Solid, and his other contributions are mere dust bunnies to be swept under the rug. Maybe you with the MGS4 signature may have no problem with that, but some of us would like to recognize these guys for more than just their most popular games.

My point was why bother telling people to congratulate what is obviously a bogus award?

1. Any sane person knows there were people that paved the way for Kojima. They deserve the awards first naturally.

2. It's only partially congratulating his body of work.

3. It's presented by Jade Raymond(hotty) who was a poor choice as a presenter, as she has no ties to Kojima.

4. It's an award by MTV. Let me repeat. It's a videogame lifetime achievement award from MTV.
