This holiday season is a good example of why only 20% of releases make money, or whatever the stat from that other thread was. They just eat each other alive. Release Banjo at a slow time and it doubles sales. Don't put Need for Speed and Midnight Club out within a week of each other and they both do better.

we buy more games this time of year, because they put out more games here. But we generally are buying the best ones. Why not spread out some of the lesser ones? They HAVE to know that some of them are less than stellar titles that could benefit from the breathing room. Look at how well the few decent games that come out in August/January/February have done the past few years.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
