I just don't understand all this fear of RROD. I am not defeding piece of crap hardware that is Xbox 360 but it got 3 years warranty on it (which more than what Nintendo and Sony give) with excellent turn around time.
Yes it blow big time when you get RROD and especially when you come to really enjoy the 360 and depend on it for your entertainment but using RROD as reason not to get 360 eventhough there's games you want to play.
I have DS broke on me, Wii motes that went bongo after a month. That didn't stop me from enjoying them. Never have a problem with my PS3 but I do read some horror story about dead blu-ray however that didn't stop me from enjoying it.
