This is because most people who watch programs like x-play prefer their gaming on HD consoles. Programs like these just appease their viewers.

There are none, it's just my experience that casuals which comprise the majority of the wii audience don't pay much attention to video game media.  Surely if x-play had so many wii-only  gamers, they would have at least complained on G4's website. There are things you can extrapolate without statistics. i would say the ps3 is the most popular consoles abong vgc users. Would you argue with that?
