I really wonder what direction they'll take after FF XIII. They're gonna have to think twice about huge scale HD development.

 

I think they just need to manage their resources better.  Their projects have become VERY bloated over the past ten years (just look how long it took to develop FFXII), and not even the likes of MGS4, Halo 3, Killzone 2, or GTAIV touch FFXIII's development cycle and budget.

 

If thats the case though, would that mean Final Fantasy XIII will be like what? 100 hours + long? it better be imo cause for it to take THIS long is uncalled for.
