Its because as time goes by the western reviewers are starting to figure out what the difference between a rpg and a narrative combat train are. They are still enjoying jrpgs, but a bunch of wrgpgs give a better rpg vibe.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
