And the cutoff is there due to VC - take VC out, and there's another 5-8 RPGs before ToV shows up on the list. And that's 1 system.

Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII will easily get 90%+ and Star Ocean The Last Hope has a chance at 90%+ too. Now before I say that I am crazy for think Star Ocean will get 90%+ average, I am going to explain myself. Read the previews for the game so far, nothing but praise from those previews. And yes, I am still talking about Star Ocean.

LO's story is no literary masterpeice. It has some flaws(very slow pacing for the first half, uninteresting villian, cutscenes seems a little too long at times). However, LO's story is still pretty good IMO considering those flaws.
