that would be another loss leading strategy though surely, as the combined costs of the parts of their next system would have to be more than $300 at launch...and if not then it'll just be a PS3 with a new controller - why not just make a add-on accessory.
I think $400-450 is a good price for launch i mean come on you want there to at least be a reason for them to release a new console how much more of a technical advantage could the ps4 have over the ps3 if it launches at $300?
