CK,
when you get your 360 back, look in the bottom (opposite of hard drive) of it up very close through the mesh in a well lit room. You will be able to see a second heat sink on the left if you unit has it.
I apparently got a brand new unit back with the new mods and such and given yours was after mine, I'd expect the same.
PM me if you are having trouble locating the second heat sink.
