Most powerfull next gen console?

Yep stopped reading here to. There is no proof of this. Dont speal off Cell figures either. It's the entire system as a whole that eminates the final production. And if you believe the statement you made, then why is the 360 having no trouble keeping with it, and currently (of games that are available to buy) have the most impressive technical and visual game?

Anyways as Zucas article pointed out and history as well, Power and graphics does not equal success. The quality of the games do.

 

Please enlighten me. What 360 game has better graphics than MGS4, Uncharted and GT5 Prologue? Don't say Gears of War 2. Please don't say Gears of War 2.

Look at any PS3 exclusive. Most of them look incredible. However, (how many times have I said this?) more people own 360s, Microsoft pays for this sort of thing, multiplats are optimised for 360. 360 games do not look bad, by any stretch of the imagination. But you really cannot truthfully say that the 360 can have better graphics than the PS3.

The PS3 hardware is undoubtedly better, as well.

First, the processor. You cannot deny that the Cell is better than the PowerPC. It's seven processors in one. Killzone 2 uses FIVE of those. Imagine what a game using all seven could look like

The RAM. 360 has 10MB more. Wow.

GPU: PS3 is 50MHz faster.

360 has Infrared. PS3 has Bluetooth.

And, of course,

360 has DVD, PS3 has Blu-ray.

I'm not saying the PS3 is better than the 360. But the hardware is better.

 

Yes Gears 2. I'm sorry to burst your bubble and all, but almost all the reviewers of Gears 2 think the same. Together with the actual people I know who own a PS3 only also were gobsmacked by Gears 2. See I dont get sucked in to the whole Forum bias graphical stuff.

Before Gears 2 I firmly believed and posted that both Uncharted and MGS4 were better than Gears 1, ME and Bioshock. So I'm not and idiot who blindly states shit (although my predictions sometimes are very optimistic, LOL).

In fact to quote for instance IGN review " Gears of War is the closet thing to Hollywood production values" Shock hey. Bu, bu what about MGS4? Another quote from the same review "Gears of War 2 takes HD visuals into a new Realm".

Dont get sucked in by the hype of a machine, or because you may have spent £400 on a console, when one that cost £200 can do the same stuff.

Ram is fairly even in size but the size isnt all to how ram works efficiently. Also yes the GPU on PS3 is 50mhz faster. But if you know anything about GPU's (pipelines, resources, shader versions etc) it is widely known the 360 GPU is better. And then there is the full system bandwidth. I'll let you try and work that out. I know the answers and how they work. As I said I'm not sucked in by a company who sate something. I have built enough gaming PC's to know what to look for.

There are parts where gears 2 shines and others where it doesn't. I own Gears 2, Uncharted, Resistance, MGS4, ect. First Of All GT5 prologue is no where near Gears 2 (that was a fanboy comment), but for example if you play games like Uncharted and MGS4 they do honestly look  better than Gears 2, but not by much. There are a few levels even in in Resistance 2 that are on par with Gears and the characters models look somewhat better for some parts in Resistance2 than Gears 2 (but gears 2 does look better than that game overall).
