It's kind of obvious but let's spell it out :

Two years in both XBox 360 and PS3 have a 5 games per system attach rate. So the PS3 is selling games just fine... maybe even better because it has higher sell through after 2 years than 360.

 

I don't understand how we reach that number because, If I made a rough calculation on the top10 sellers on both systems, I have a 10% difference (less for the PS3) compared to the gap percentage of the install bases.

Why would you only take the top 10 sellers exactly?

 

Cause it is a rough calculation

Top 360 goes from 8.41 mil to 2.36 mil

Top PS3 goes from 4.84 mil to 1.64 mil

There's no need for rough calculation when VGChartz gives us the full picture every week in the total software sold section
