I might as well go legit and stop lurking. I have been checking up on this site since shortly after the ps3/Wii launch. While I have been gaming since I was about 6 or eight but I haven't always kept up with it. The only systems I own now are a Wii and a Ds.  I tend to skip every other generation it seems. I had the Nes and N64, well technically I still have but I don't play them much. Because I have two brothers, we tended to get one system for one person per generation. I have played plenty of Ps1, and Ps2. A roomate had an xbox, so I played it some.

The Wii is the only system I have had since near launch and is the only system I waited for. I work in retail, in electronics, so I am looking at the upcoming sales for Christmas to see if a 360 will get into my price range. I am sure I should be able to afford it by the time Resident Evil 5 comes out, though I am more interested in the line of rpgs heading to it. At the moment, I am not really looking at a Ps3 because I can't afford it.  And the biggest reason that I am not planning on a Psp currently is that I don't really play my ds much. I just don't really play many portable games right now.

I live in a typical Midwestern town, and work for a large retail chain. Aside from games, we sell both Blu-ray and Hd Dvds. We sell more Blu-ray, in terms of selection, by far. In terms of how many copies we sell--- for the movie 300 it seemed to be a dead heat and in terms of Tmnt -- I am not sure we have sold I copy of either. Those are the only movies we sell in both so I really have no real comparison.

If you want to know how a game is doing locally, ask. Our sells typically mirror national trends. There are oddities though and any numbers I give need to be seen as just a tiny fraction of a good sample.
