The Xbox 360s with lot numbers 839zzX+ are revision 3 Falcons and they come with quieter drives, solid state capacitors and they've removed the ram from the bottom of the motherboard. They are good replacements for those who are interested.

Edit: Probably best to look for an 840zzX system. 
They should become easier to find in the coming weeks as the stores burn through their stock of consoles.
