Okay, so i just read two pages on this thread, and saw little to no comments about the controls of Bioshock from the people who have played it, I have read that it lacks multiplayer, has grainy textures up close, and has an amazing story and atmosphere.. how does that add up to a 10?

I obviously haven't played it, but can someone explain that to me?

And LOL at the sony review

"To conclude, let this game cook in the oven just a little bit longer and wait for the superior PS3 version. Cleaned up textures, animations, AI, extra weapons, Home space, standard HDD and Blu-ray will make this flawed game into a perfect gem."

That made me laugh

I cant speak for the PC version, but it controls very fluidly on the 360. Cycling through the different weapons and plasmids is done via the bumpers, so its all very fast and easy.

This game really doesn't need multiplayer when its singleplayer is as strong as it is. Also, what do you mean by "grainy textures"? Everything I've seen is sharp, so is that what you mean?

Great gameplay + graphics/atmosphere + strong story + open ended combat + great AI + replayability + insane attention to detail = 10

I honestly have to say this is the best next gen game I've played thusfar. Thank god I have a friend who lives near TRU.

As i said, this is all just from what i've read in this thread, i haven't really read anything else on it.. someone did mention earlier though, something to do with textures when you get too close -- i haven't played it, so i can't even back it up with an anecdotal play session
