Give peope cheap food that unhealthy but tastes awesome and they'll eat it.
It's no big surprise.
A good example is China... which is rapidly increasing meat consumption right along with it's economy. Just watch, 10-15 years China is going to have an Obesity problem.
As for what it's like living in America.
Well that depends where. Each state in america is practially like it's own country.
So it really is going to vary between states.
