Naw, I was down with Sonic 2, Sonic Spinball, Kid Chameleon, and a few other games, and I hear the Genesis had a better version of Shadowrun.  But with Mode 7 rotation effects (Super Mario Kart, Yoshi's Island, Castlevania IV) and that magical soundchip (Donkey Kong Country, Final Fantasy 6) and the FX Chip (Star Fox), the SNES stole my heart and had about 90% of the best games of the generation in my opinion.

The Genesis only gave the SNES a run for its money in America.  It got smoked by the SNES worldwide, even though it came out 2 years earlier, making it really embarrassing (kinda like the 360 losing its 1 year head start).
