EGM rumor was about a U$ 99 PS2 re-release with waggle from Sony. There was no $ 60 3rd party peripheral and $ 30 games that are not even a full Wiisports.
You can not port Wii titles to PS2 (at least not the wii control scheme). The Wii control is build within the console, there is no way a cheap 3rd party peripheral can mimic it. You may think that this will save PS3 by shifting the developers attention from Wii to PS2, but not even the PS3 can mimick Wii control scheme without severe hardware modifications.
