Actually, now that I've seen the source for the first time; I don't think so.
Drop CD/DVD support?
Why would they already have so many future skus planned, the whole point of multiple sku line ups are flexibility?
2160p output? And what TV or Projector would it play on? There are none, and will be no mass market displays within the next 10 years.

All this sounds fun, but why would Sony want to do this? Why would they want to make another product that would not be able to be utilized in most homes and do things that people don't care about?
