I believe things are what you make of them, and the purpose of life is what you give it. Things do not have meaning except that which you assign them, and you are only what you make of yourself.

I believe nature is too indifferent at best and too cruel at worst, the planet too inhospitable, the universe too random for their to be any god like religious texts describe. Our own existence is statistical inevitability, not providence.
