Before the Wii and PS3 even launched, Shoe had an said in his editorial that he believed that Nintendo had a good shot of taking the number one spot this gen. And then there was the issue where a group of them had to decide between PS3 and Wii based on launch games. I believe everyone chose Wi, or at least 3/4 did. Anyway, I won't be too sad to see them go. Compare a mag today to one of their mags 5 years ago, and you will see a huge drop in both size and quality. They rarely even review that many games nowadays, at least outside of big releases.

EGM has no statistical bias against Wii or PS3 games. Just the parent website 1up.
EGM's Wii, PS3 and 360 reveiws all fall about 5% below the average game ranking. On average all 3 games from the system are likely to get a score that is a half a point lower then deserved.
This is not bias. They are just tough reviewers. Tough reviewers are my favorite because i honestly think game magazines are too easy on games. I'd perfer is games were more or less equally distributed on a bell curve centered at 5. Of course that would mean nearly half the games made would get under a 5, which most gamers and game developers would get quite mad at.
