Home is not on the verge of release, they are just guessing the open beta will start soon.
When Home was first announced, I couldn't get more than meh for it, and with each passing release date the excitement just continues to decrease.
They're finally opening a public beta after, what, nearly two years more than a year of delays? Woohoo? I honestly don't understand why people are so hyped about this thing.
