If that's the case you must have the intellegence of a toddler since you can't understand the point of playing a racing sim to being with....

(wait for it.....)

....To RACE! Gosh, I hope i didn't just make your head explode! And yes, if all the cars were unlocked along with the tracks from the outright then every WOULD stick to arcade mode. The entire point of GT is to race your car under the perception that it's just like or  as close as to "real life" as possible, the only way to experience most those cars are to unlock them by.... (wait for it again....)

...RACING. ZOMG!!!11

How ironic you question my intelligence when you cannot even fathom that there can be more ways to race than the limited option of what GT provides.

...and as close to real life as possible?  I can ram a car into a wall full speed and just bounce the car off it and keep going.  Anyone who thinks GT is realistic is delusional.

Funny how you keep talking about ways that the franchise can improve without stating one. Tell me, how else can you race in race game? by not racing? by shooting each other with guns? by using boats?lol. you're full of shit and you can't back up your argument, admit it. The point of a racing sim is to get from point A to point B using cars that are close to their real life counterparts while against time or other racers. Having different modes other than online is not going to change the genre or the appeal of it, genius.

As for the full speed into wall comment. Look, the only software that allows the "player" to actually die from crashing into a wall with fullspeed are educational sims that are used in training/collage centers. Regardless, only a 5 year old would ram into the wall in a racing sim and use that as a excuse for touting it as "unrealistic". Are you that 5 year old that spends time ramming into the walls? maybe, since you sure as hell don't play the game to.... to... um.. what's that word I'm looking for?... oh yeah, RACE.

Your stupid comments about guns and boats show just how hollow you know your reasoning is.   Can't defend your point?  Make stupid comments and try to pin them on the person destroying your weak argument.  How predictable.

If they really wanted a 'real driving sim' they could add challenges like not touching other cars (oh looks there is your example you wanted), but is isn't realistic so that won't happen.  Give a need for a minimum speed, or an average speed, you know, anything to differ from just 'get from A to B'.  There are plenty of addiotnal modes to racing that can add to the same ones used since 1998.  To deny otherwise makes you a fool.

You can't be serious.... Your examples are as stupid as your initial arguments. Your cred is getting smaller and smaller as your posts rack up.

Not touching other cars? WTF is the point of that? Are you saying that cars don't touch in real races? are you saying that the game would be better if cars didn't touch? Instead of adding a stupid forced "challenge" like "Don't touch another car" Hows about improve the A.I, add more tracks and cars instead. Oh wait, that's what they've been doing all along. Your example is the very gimmick that I was talking about, genius. PD would be in essence adding a stupid mode, that no one would want, rather than spending time doing important things like implementing damage (which will get rid of the bumper car problem) or improving AI (which is not nearly as good as it can be). You're asking for a change just to force things to be different, this is the very proof that you don't play GT to race. This example of yours is equivalent to devs pulling gimmick mode out of their asses to try to shake things up for no reason... oh wait, that's what you're asking for ain't it? If you want fuged up challenge modes, stick with NFS, juiced and Burnout.

Also, go into more detail with the minimum speed, average speed idea. It's so vague that I'm not even going to bother with it until you reply. Go ahead, I'll give a fair trial and hear this idea out.

If you know what you are doing some tracks have great corners where you keep a higher speed using the wall as a 'bouncer' and bounce away from it in another direction, the same for cars, drive into them on the side that is facing inwards of a turn and you slow them down greatly while using them to 'bounce' out of the turn at a higher speed.  Yeah, so realistic.

The people I play with don't bounce off walls or cars to win races and TBH, this is the exact reason why I'd demand PD to add a damage system if they ever plan to compete with other racing sims. Other than that, it's really not PD's or anyone elses fault that you (and alot of people online) play the game like a moron. Regardless, the detail and performance of the cars are far beyond any other sim in the market, so yes, it is the most realistic game.... unless you're one of those idiots that intend to spend their time crashing into walls and cars while trying to break the game. But hey, I'd do the same if I played or racing sim for any other reason than to race.

Think back to your original argument. On one end, you're asking for a different "new" game or something that is not "patchable". Now, you're defending your argument by adding special challenge modes to the equation, which still would have zero or a VERY minimal effect on the core gameplay (which is racing). Seriously, think about it. Additional modes are things that are easily patched and thrown in. 99.9% of the time they are gimmicks. In my second response to you, I told you that even with damage added or your extra modes, the game would still "be the same" based only on your opinion.

So it pretty much boils down to you claiming that GT has been the same game since GT1 (AKA "the differences are just patches"), and you claiming that extra challenge modes (which are things that can be easily patched in) are exactly what it takes to make things "different" from now on... All that, while knowing GT is a racing sim, that focuses mainly on racing and detail of cars....

I only have one more question for you. Do you realize how weak your argument is?

The foundation of your argument already crumbled when you forgot the entire point of playing a racing sim.

If you're going to reply, don't forget about the underlined text.
