If that's the case you must have the intellegence of a toddler since you can't understand the point of playing a racing sim to being with....

(wait for it.....)

....To RACE! Gosh, I hope i didn't just make your head explode! And yes, if all the cars were unlocked along with the tracks from the outright then every WOULD stick to arcade mode. The entire point of GT is to race your car under the perception that it's just like or  as close as to "real life" as possible, the only way to experience most those cars are to unlock them by.... (wait for it again....)

...RACING. ZOMG!!!11

How ironic you question my intelligence when you cannot even fathom that there can be more ways to race than the limited option of what GT provides.

...and as close to real life as possible?  I can ram a car into a wall full speed and just bounce the car off it and keep going.  Anyone who thinks GT is realistic is delusional.

Funny how you keep talking about ways that the franchise can improve without stating one. Tell me, how else can you race in race game? by not racing? by shooting each other with guns? by using boats?lol. you're full of shit and you can't back up your argument, admit it. The point of a racing sim is to get from point A to point B using cars that are close to their real life counterparts while against time or other racers. Having different modes other than online is not going to change the genre or the appeal of it, genius.

As for the full speed into wall comment. Look, the only software that allows the "player" to actually die from crashing into a wall with fullspeed are educational sims that are used in training/collage centers. Regardless, only a 5 year old would ram into the wall in a racing sim and use that as a excuse for touting it as "unrealistic". Are you that 5 year old that spends time ramming into the walls? maybe, since you sure as hell don't play the game to.... to... um.. what's that word I'm looking for?... oh yeah, RACE.

And about the whole delusional comment... I guess the professional drifters that I met at dragon's tail racing in NC were lying when they said "we use GT5P with a modded wheel controller to train for some events because it has the most accurate car performance to date"... uh you know what? forget it, I doubt you have never been to a racing event to get any opinions from real racers or enthusiast. Because of this, I'm not even going to get into with you.

You must be the only person that plays racing sims for anything other than racing. For that, your opinion is null. Now go away so I can play Madden for the awesome story lines, that's right, I play madden for the story line rather than playing it for the football gameplay /sarcasm.

Game over Kylie. You got owned.

If you don't like racing, then why are you playing a game based purely on the racing?    Gran Turismo is a game for fans of racing,  not people who like games like "San Francisco Rush".     Some people love the realism factor.  It's actually like you are driving a car (Most people will never get a chance to drive).

It's not a gimmick game where you collect secret gems or drive off of the skyscraper and try to land on another building.  Mitsubishi tested a lot of their cars using Gran Turismo 5 as a guide, because it's so realistic.
