Whatever, I'll be the one spending money on something else for a -real- new game. GT fans must have the memory of a goldfish. If the only way they can enjoy essentially playing the same game that was released in 1998. By the way, new modes of play = new content, not a gimmick. If people played GT for racing and gameplay, they'd stick to arcade mode. The real content of GT is the single player with racing for cash to buy and customise new cars. It has long since become stale. It should long ago have got new modes that differ from 'Finish 1st' or 'Finish in this time'. Especially when old courses from older game keep getting reused for a lot of them. |
If that's the case you must have the intellegence of a toddler since you can't understand the point of playing a racing sim to being with....
(wait for it.....)
....To RACE! Gosh, I hope i didn't just make your head explode! And yes, if all the cars were unlocked along with the tracks from the outright then every WOULD stick to arcade mode. The entire point of GT is to race your car under the perception that it's just like or as close as to "real life" as possible, the only way to experience most those cars are to unlock them by.... (wait for it again....)
...RACING. ZOMG!!!11
I personally think it's pathetic that you base on value of GT solely on HOW to unlock new cars rather than racing with them. If you want gimmicks and new modes rather than racing, play juiced.
Regardless, please go into more detail of what "new modes" you would like added to GT that would not make it seem like a gimmick. You seem to have all the ideas. Maybe PD should hire you instead of focusing on the actual racing aspects of GT and use w/e you have in mind instead.
I really don't know about you but when I buy a GT game, it's pretty much unlock all the cars, play with friends and marvel at the graphics. This is because we actually enjoy racing where as you seem to make it out as a chore.
