Most of the complaints about the Wii's graphics potential come from either reviewers, who review PS3/360 games on expensive 1080p televisions, or hardcore gamers, who also play games on expensive HDTVs. Comparing the PS3 or 360 to the Wii while playing both in 480i/480p narrows the "graphics gap" considerably - and it's actually a valid comparison to make, considering the majority of PS3/360 owners don't even own an HDTV.
"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
