19 million PS3's have been shipped/ sold. 40 million Wii's have been shipped/sold. 25 million 360's have been shipped/sold.
So VGChartz estimate their sales based on 90% of shipped consoles is counted as sold to customers. Interesting.
All three companies count shipped as sold it has left their hands and it is up to the retailers to make money from selling the consoles.
