Aye, what comes to most people's minds when they hear "lolita"? I'm not dissing you, lolita; just find it funny that a person that chose that name would pass judgement on a harmless thread like this. And what makes the thread so sad? People finding characters designed to be sexy...sexy?
Stereotype, schmereotype. Big deal. You hardly ever hear people complain about the "barrel-chested, rugged hero", "idealistic youth", or "angst-ridden youth" stereotypes. Those stereotypes get some grief, but not from degredation point of view. People just seem to have a problem with men enjoying being men. Good luck with trying to change millions of years of evolution and the driving force of our survival. :) Also, many modern feminists revolt against the uptight, sexless ideal that many "progressives" try and place on women. Instead of poo'ing on light-hearted threads like this, why not create your own (positive)thread concerning heroines that aren't overtly sexual?
