Nope, I actually use microSDs on my PSP.

microSD are very cheap. Here's a breakdown on some prices:

8 gig - $15.97

4 gig - $4.94

2 gig - $1.29

1 gig - $0.01

The seller charges like $5 shipping per item.

They are universal with almost everything. All you need is an adapter, microSD->miniSD->SD, microSD->SD, microSD->Memory Stick Pro Duo. I can use them with my other electrical gadgets and stuff. Memory Sticks are more expensive and are only used with Sony products.
