 And the iPhone. You can't forget the iPhone when it outsold the Blackberry last quarter. Or the Mac, which is gaining US marketshare faster than any other retail PC, especially in laptops.

Most of Apple's posturing is for the developer's benefit, I'm sure. Look how much power our platform has, look at our slick online marketplace, look at how fast our userbase is growing. The only way Apple is actually going to compete with DS and PSP is if developers think that they can.

Right now, the only equivalency between Apple and Nintendo is that they both make hardware and they both earn over a billion dollars in profit a quarter. The iPhone isn't there yet, but it never will get there if Apple doesn't push.
