I had a Core from launch. Bought a 20 gig hard drive for it a long time ago. I tired to see what would happen if I tried this. So I took out my hard drive and went to the website. Looks like XBL is smart. They know exactly what you have on system and what you have done to it. It said I had already upgraded to a hard drive and it won't let me get the deal. Instead of 'Dreamcast, it's watching' it should be 'Xbox, it's watching.'
