The other thought is to get a big HD monitor that I can plug the Xb360 into, like one of those 32 inch monitors, then I can at least say Im using it for my computer as well. =) We'll see what my options are like in the Spring. I imagine the prices will cool off a bit more by then

I would actually discourage going that big unless you've got a high-end PC rig or the means to upgrade. When you start getting into the 30"+ LCD PC monitor range you're talking about resolution capabilities that far exceed the current gen consoles and TVs, such as 1440p & 1600p displays (e.g., 2560x1600 WQXGA). What happens with such "Extreme HD" displays is that you'll now be upscaling 1080p and comparable (1920x1200 WUXGA) resolution content, which kind of puts you right back where you were before; you lose that fine per-pixel definition you were trying to achieve in the first place.

I think you want to get a true HD TV, or at least stay under that 30" WQXGA LCD barrier on the PC side.

Thanks for the info, some definite things to consider there. Until my SDTV gives up the ghost, I can't betray it and toss a perfectly good TV. Its been around for 16 years, so its like an old friend to me. Do you know how much porn gaming that tv has provided me with? =)

Hmm, maybe I'll look ino something on  the 28' monitor side, since that'd be somewhat cheaper.

@tuoyo - I do agree with you, that it comes down to gameplay of course. Some games that are multiplat just might be more fun with Wii controls. I wil get COD5 for Wii. Id likely use the 360 to cover the games that I cant get on Wii, like RE5 and the sort.
